Ask Miss Leong Episode 1

A lot of you are curious and interested to know more about me.
I shall address some commonly asked questions in this entry.

I have done a Q&A interview blog entry ... 4 years ago!
That's very long ago.
http://missleong.blogspot.sg/2008/10/hello.html

Any changes in the answer? I guess I have to change my answer for question 2.

1. What is your favourite colour?
I love a lot of colours. I'm obsessed with green and blue recently. I still like pink. I also like bright colours such as yellow.

2. What is your favourite flower?
I love sunflowers as they make me very happy. I love dandelion too however they are weeds, not flowers.

3. Who is your favourite teacher?
I have talked about the teachers who inspired me in this http://missleong.blogspot.sg/2008/10/my-favourite-teachers.html I have to add to that list of teachers. I forgot to mention Jason Loh and Ludwig Tan. Both of them are very knowledgable and inspired me to pursue my love for English. Alvin, Jason and Ludwig are my favourite teachers when I was taking my degree.

4. Who is your idol?
My mother! She is the best mother in the world, in my opinion. ^_*

5. What is your favourite snack?
I know snacking is unhealthy but once in a while, we need to reward ourselves. My current favourite snacks are caramel corn from Daiso,

coffeebeat

and redcurrant puffs from Marks and Spencer.

6. What is your favourite drink?
It may sound really unhealthy but I really like

Coke,

Signature Hot Chocolate from Starbucks

and my current obsession with Ice Shaken Lemon Tea (Zen / Green Tea) from Starbucks.

That's the end of "Ask Miss Leong".

This post is meant to share a little bit more about myself as a lot of you are very curious.

I hope you like such sharing.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me.

I may have "Ask Miss Leong Episode 2" if you are interested.

Cheers,
Miss Leong

Outstanding Updates

Apologies for the lack of updates in this blog.
I've offically deleted my Facebook account so I will be more active here.

Are you enjoying your holiday?
I hope everyone is having fun.
Do remember to complete your holiday homework (if any) or do your revision for topics covered in Semester 1 during this holiday.

Before we begin on the brand new term 3, let's take a look at the outstanding photographs taken in Term 1 and 2.

Enjoy!

Just a reminder to all parents that your presence is more important than your presents to your child so do spend more time interacting with them. ^_^

The rise of HFMD cases raises awareness in pupils that keeping good hygiene is extremely important.

I've placed hand sanitizer in my classroom as well as band room for the pupils.

Let me take this opportunity to share some cute videos on the correct procedures of washing your hands.

Let's do our part to spread love not germs! <3

I'm very proud of the teams we sent for the LEGO: Build Your Dream Community competition. We are honoured to emerge as the merit prize for Category A.
It was really an eye-opening experience for the pupils.
The team won themselves a trophy each and also a trophy for the school.
The team also received cash award of $150.
Well done! ^_^

I shall let the pictures do the talking.

I've nominated pupils from P4/8 as star pupils and I'm very proud that they are being selected as the star pupils of P4 for Term 1 (Ryan) and Term 2 (Azly). ^_^

Before the financial literacy talk during assembly, the boys took picture with the poster.

As a teacher, I'm always very touched to see tokens of appreciation (cards, presents etc) from pupils. This Mothers' Day, I've received my first ever Mothers' Day flower! Thank you so much, Lakshanna!

I always enjoy teaching Art. It's so fun to work on a collaborative project with pupils. All pupils work together as a class to create a picture. Isn't this amazing? I love the artwork produced by P6/2 and P6/6.

Spot any cute and familiar faces?
Zhiyuan represented the band as appeared in the cover page of our own Qihua newsletter!
Isn't he cute? =)

P4/8 attended this confidence building workshop and I hope they have learnt something more about themselves after this workshop.

I've taken picture of Azly's work.

I really enjoy and look forward to every band session. My band members are simply too cute. I love them so much.

We went to Singapore Conference Hall on the 31st March. We had fun!

Our 4th April band session.

We polish our instruments on the 5th April before our SYF performance!

SYF Performance Day on the 10th April!
Good job, everyone.
I'm proud of you.

I can't believe I have not uploaded the pictures taken for the Start It Right programme of Term 2.

We ended the term with the meaningful Seashore programme on 21st May.
We went to Pasir Ris beach.
I had lots of fun with P4/8.
Oh P4/8, I miss all of you so much!

Let's look forward to another exciting term filled with fun activities.

I promise to update this space more often.

Remember to check this blog frequently.

Cheers,
Miss Leong ^_*
